Our Technology

Smart Mirror Fitting Technology

Finding the right frames for each patient is a science. Luckily, our team has smart mirror fitting technology to help! This tech allows patients to try on new frames, take pictures or videos, compare them side by side, and get instant feedback on how they look.

Smart mirror fitting technology also helps determine progressive lens design for patients. Instead of us taking several vision tests to determine optimal reading distance, the technology assesses the ideal placement for the lenses.

When testing a patient’s vision, the smallest advantages can make a world of difference. To assess each patient’s refraction, we combine 2 ZEISS refraction instruments for better results. This includes combining the central exam elements, vision testing, charts, and phoropter into one smart solution.

Refraction with the i.Profiler®plus and i.Scription® from ZEISS

The iProfiler®plus is a 4-in-1 system that helps tailor a specific glasses prescription called i.Scription. Traditionally, a prescription is measured to 1/4th of a diopter.

However, with this tech, we’re able to measure up to 1/100 of a diopter! This increased measurement helps improve color, contrast vision, and night vision for patients.
